What do we process personal data for?

Your personal data are processed by dackus.it B.V. for the following purposes:

• Registration open water swimming competition or performance tour
• Informing you about the open water swimming competition or achievement tour
• Sending results of the open water swimming competition or achievement tour
• Invitation for a next open water swimming competition or achievement tour

For the above purposes, we may request the following personal data from you:

• First name
• Insertion
• Surname
• Date of birth
• Telephone number
• E-mail address
• Bank account number for direct debit
• (residential) address
• Association

Provision to third parties
We may provide the data you give to us to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes described above.

For example:

• The swimming association / KNZB
• Sportlink
• ICT department
• Taking care of the financial administration
• Volunteer organisations that ensure the safety of the event

We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not concluded a processing agreement. Naturally, we make the necessary agreements with these parties (processors) to ensure the security of your personal data. Furthermore, we will not provide the data you provide to other parties, unless required and permitted by law. An example of this is when the police request (personal) data from us as part of an investigation. In such a case, we are obliged to cooperate and hand over these data. We may also share personal data with third parties if you give us explicit written permission to do so.

We do not provide personal data to parties located outside the EU.

Minors
We only process personal data of minors (persons under 16 years of age) if written consent has been given by the parent, guardian or legal representative. If your child is registered online, this requires another signature prior to the event.

Retention period
dackus.it B.V. does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or required by law.

We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data of yours from unlawful processing. For example, we have taken the following measures:

• All persons who may have knowledge of your data on behalf of dackus.it B.V. are bound to secrecy.
• We maintain a username and password policy on all our systems.
• We pseudonymise and ensure the encryption of personal data if warranted.
• We test and evaluate our measures.
• Our employees are informed about the importance of protecting personal data.

Rights regarding your data
