Waolenwiert, how to?

The Waolenwiert is a private sailing club with which the gravel pit swimmers—a significant number of whom are also sailing members—have made agreements to swim safely and with excellent facilities. Private changing rooms, belongings locked away, and an easy ramp to enter the water. In winter, there is also heating in the changing rooms. We are here as guests of the sailors, so that also means we have to adapt a little. We can only access the club on Monday evenings, Wednesday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and Saturday mornings. We drive in from the Eijsderbeemden parking lot (outside the gate) together with a maximum of 4 cars. So, a maximum of about 15 swimmers. One more or less doesn't matter, but if there are significantly more people, we split the group up, and another group enters the gravel pit via the Eijsderbeemden. For this purpose, we placed special rubber ramps in the water so that you can enter easily. We also drive out together; usually there is a short swim car that leaves again within the hour, and there are also longer swim cars for those who want to enjoy the open water for longer. Coordinate with each other who drives out with whom so that you do not have to wait unnecessarily. Going out alone is not possible, so we leave together in a car.

All other locations are on the same gravel pit and can be easily found via the directions above.
